Our soaps are so beautiful because we use only the finest certified organic plant oils from cold pressed organic Sunflower oil to unrefined organic Cocoa butter to make them gentle and nourishing for your skin, creamy lathering and long lasting. We don't use Palm oil or any artificial colours or preservatives, just a touch of natural vitamin E from Sunflowers to keep them at their best. Our soaps are only scented with beautiful organic essential oils and lots of them in each bar, so they smell wonderful right down to the last little bit.
Our ancient cold pressed method of soap making mean each bar once made, cut and stamped by hand cures in beech wood racks for up to six weeks while their pH reduces and they harden. These methods also mean each bar retains its natural vegetable glycerine created when the oils react with the lye in the making process (this is often removed in commercial soaps and sold as a by product) The natural glycerine keeps moisture in your skin and makes a waxy soap that doesn’t crack or crumble. Our knowledge of medicinal plants used in each recipe are wonderful for sensitive skin and bring joy to your senses everytime you use them. We hope you enjoy them as much as we love making them.
Enchanted Plants was founded from a personal love of plants and their endless benefits to our health and well being. A few years after my Herbal Medicine degree, I started to make gentle soaps using what I believed were the best blends of organic plant oils with no artificial additives. The results were bars of lovely scented lather that people loved, and as the orders came in so it grew. We are lucky here in Dorset, plants and nature are all around, using purely plant derived soaps is such an easy way of introducing the benefits of natural ingredients into your daily routine.
